Air Integration on Your Wrist
The Garmin Descent T2 Transceiver allows you to monitor important tank information directly from your compatible Garmin Descent device. Once paired, you can view tank pressure, depth, gas use rate, and estimated time remaining without relying only on a traditional pressure gauge.
This gives divers a clearer overview of their gas status throughout the dive, helping improve awareness, planning, and communication with their buddy or dive team.
Enhanced SubWave™ Sonar Technology
The Descent T2 uses enhanced SubWave™ sonar technology to transmit tank pressure data underwater. This allows compatible Garmin Descent devices to monitor up to 8 tanks during a dive, making it suitable for buddy diving, group diving, technical setups, and multiple tank configurations.
Within a range of up to 10 m, you can see your dive buddies’ tank pressure, distance, and depth at a glance on your compatible Descent device. This gives buddy teams, instructors, and dive leaders better awareness throughout the dive.
Diver-to-Diver Messaging
When using Descent™ Mk3i or Descent™ X50i dive computers paired with Descent T2 transceivers, divers can exchange preformatted diver-to-diver messages underwater within a range of up to 30 m.
This feature adds an extra layer of communication for buddy teams, instructors, dive leaders, and divers who want a more connected dive experience.
